Governor Polis Appoints Dina M. Christiansen to the 13th Judicial District Court
Colorado Governor Jared Polis appointed Dina M. Christiansen to the 13th Judicial District Court. This appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Charles M. Hobbs and is effective October 2, 2024.
Christiansen is a District Court Magistrate in the 8th Judicial District, a position she has held since 2019. Previously, she was a Sole Practitioner at The Christiansen Law Firm, LLC (2017-2019); Partner at Wabeke, Brummet, Johnson & Christiansen (2006-2017); and Attorney at Kingsford Law Offices, LLC (2004-2006).
She earned her B.S. from the University of Utah in 1989 and her J.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2004.
Colorado’s 13th Judicial District includes Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Washington, Sedgwick, Yuma, and Kit Carson counties.
