RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS

BOARD MEETING  September 19, 2023

The Kiowa County Hospital District Board met in special session on September 19, 2023, at 3:12 pm at the Kiowa County Hospital District Room One.

District Board members present were:  Matt Prince, Mary Eikner, Doug Uhland, Karl Eikenberg via zoom, and Pam Cole.  

Others present:  Cindy McLoud, Beth Bell, and Rene Larkin via zoom.

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Matt Prince, Chairman of the Board at 3:12 pm. 

AGENDA

Pam Cole made a motion to approve the agenda and Doug Uhland seconded it.  All aye.

PUBLIC COMMENT

There was discussion about the purpose of today’s meeting and input on the physicians who met with the community during their visit to Eads.  

EXECUTIVE SESSION

A motion was made by Pam Cole to go into executive session for the purpose of conferring with the District Attorney pursuant to and as permitted by CRS 24-6-402(4)(b) and contract negotiations pursuant and as permitted by CRS 24-6-402(4)(e).  Mary Eikner seconded the motion.  All aye.

Executive session convened at 3:14 pm and was returned to regular session at 4:26 pm.

PUBLIC COMMENT

There was no public comment.

ADJOURNMENT

Pam Cole made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Mary Eikner seconded the motion.  All aye.  Meeting adjourned at 4:27 pm.
