Kiowa County School District RE-1 Important Dates and Information

Registration 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. MP Room

(Preschool parents need to simply pick up a packet and schedule an appointment to

meet with Mrs. McLoud and Mrs. McCracken the week of Aug. 9th to go over all

paperwork required.)

5 :30 pm freshmen and new high school student orientation

7:00 pm sports meeting in the high school gym (for middle school and high school

athletes and parents)

Elementary and Middle School Open House

First dav of school on * Grades Kindergarten through 12

The Eads School District is planning on starting the 2021-2022 school year as normal. The school and sports calendars will run as normal.

Fall Sports practice will begin on (Athletes must have an updated physical before they

can start practice.)

There have been a few updates approved by the school board to the Eads student

handbook.

First Offense: The phone will be confiscated for the remainder of the school day and the student will be given a Level II write up. He/She will serve one hour in after-school detention.

3. Shorts, dresses, skirts, or similar clothing must be no more than five inches above the top of the knee.

4. No hats, caps, hoods, sunglasses, or any other head covering that covers the top of the head are to be worn in the building by either male or female students during instructional time.
