Wednesday, the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Luther Street in Eads. One person was arrested and numerous drugs were seized as part of an ongoing controlled substance investigation. 

The person was taken to Prowers County Jail for the following, with a $50,000 bond:

• C.R.S. 18-18-407(1)(g)(l), Special Offender - Drug Felony 1
• C.R.S. 18-18-405(2)(b)(l)(a) Unlawful distribution, manufacturing, dispensing, or sale - Drug Felony 2
• C.R.S. 18-18-405(2)(c)(ll), Unlawful distribution, manufacturing, dispensing, or sale - Drug Felony 3
• C.R.S 18-18-403.5, Unlawful possession of a controlled substance – Drug Felony 4
• C.R.S 18-18-403.5, Unlawful possession of a controlled substance – Drug Felony 4
• C.R.S. 18-18-428, Possession of drug paraphernalia – Drug Petty Offense 1
