Kiowa County Social Service hosted annual food drive

The Kiowa County Department of Social Services recently hosted the annual food drive for community Christmas food baskets. This year the Department had the opportunity to collaborate with the Eads Future Business Leaders of America club. 

Over 500 food items were donated throughout a food drive competition amongst the students at Eads schools organized by the FBLA students. 

The winning class with the most donations was the first grade, with over 90 donations.

To show appreciation, DSS will provide this class a pizza party for their efforts. 

Kiowa County DSS thanks everyone who made this successful food drive possible during the holiday season.
