NOTICE OF ELECTION

Town of Cheyenne Wells Election 2024

The Town of Cheyenne Wells is seeking nomination for the April 2, 2024 Municipal Election.  All positions that are currently filled on the town council have been appointed to their positions.  For 2024 we have seven seats available the Mayor will be a 4-year term 3 Council seats will be for 4-year terms and 3 Council seats will be for 2-year terms. The Cheyenne Wells Municipal Elections are non-partisan. 

• Qualifications to be a Mayor or Trustee for the Town of Cheyenne Wells are:
• A Citizen of the United States
• Must be 18 years of age
• A Registered Voter
• Reside inside the city limits of Cheyenne Wells at least 12 consecutive months preceding the date of the election

Nominating petitions are available for circulation in the Municipal Complex Town Clerk’s office, 151 South 1^st, Cheyenne Wells, CO  80810 on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 and are required to be returned to the same office by 4:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2024.
