Obituary – Bobbie L. Stogsdill

Bobbie L. Stogsdill

October 17, 1940 – November 2, 2019

Bobbie Stogsdill born to Robert and Ruth Naugle October 17, 1940, in Dalhart, Texas, and was the oldest of five siblings. The family moved south of Karval, Colorado, in 1952.

Bobbie attended school in Sugar City, then attended Karval High School, graduating in 1959.

After graduation, she married Carl Stogsdill. They have four children Tami Stogsdill Green, Bart Stogsdill, Ty Stogsdill and Christy Stogsdill Adams.

Bobbie became the cook at the Karval Public school in 1974, where she cooked through all the years of her four children's schooling, retiring in 2005.

Bobbie liked to cook so well that she continued to cook once a week at the sale barn in Limon, and also at the Branding Iron Cafe in Karval until she decided to move to Limon, where she had several different jobs until she didn't care to work any longer and could retire.

Bobbie loved to play cards, board games with whoever would play, she also loved word search and jigsaw puzzles.

Bobbie was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth; brother, Howard Naugle; sister, Billie Lafferty; and brother, Allen Naugle.

She is survived by her daughter, Tami Stogsdill Green and husband Roy Lynn Green of Des Moines New Mexico; son, Bart Stogsdill and wife Amelia and their daughter Arabella of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Ty Stogsdill and wife Deanna and their daughter Tyla of Karval; and daughter, Christy Stogsdill Adams and her husband John and their son Jackson of Salida. Also surviving is her youngest sister, Janie Randell and husband Jack of Stratford, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held November 9, 2019, at the Karval Bucklen Cemetery in Karval. Casket bearers were Ryan Naugle, Jeremy Naugle, Cory Naugle, Bart Stogsdill, Ty Stogsdill, and Judd Kravig. Honorary casket bearers were Tyla Stogsdill, Jackson Adams, Kris Wilson, Keely Chumley, Keisha Holland, Jamie Kelley, Stacey Maldonado, Robbie Randell, Jim Lafferty, Scott Lafferty and Janie Randell.
