The Colorado State Fair 17 day long is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and well-attended events in 120 year history of the Fairground located in Pueblo. Kiowa County merchants and Colorado State Fair were giving away 2 Fair Deals worth more than $100.

Kiowa County’s board of commissioners refused to give much encouragement to Eads Mayor Jerri Legg’s request for assistance in finding a workable solution to Eads’ “dog problem”.

A road was granted by commissioners, running north from Eads & connecting to one laid out by Cheyenne County Commissioners. This is the last link to the cross road running from the Golden Belt highway on the Rock Island to the Santa Fe Trail on the Santa Fe.
