  • The Annual Community Christmas Cantata will be held at the Eads United Methodist Church.

  • The RE-1 School Board approves a teacher base salary increase. The increase of $500 is effective September 1975.

  • Kelly Jackson won the blue ribbon for his country cured ham at a convention of the Colorado Frozen Food Locker Association held in Denver.
  • We are pleased to see improvements in the Town of Eads, and believe the proposal to bring in natural gas will mark a definite period of progress.
  • Former Kiowa County resident R.V. McFarlane wrote informing of his recent move to Geddes, South Dakota, where he has a “modern house and REA electric service.
  • Ted Oswald of Kit Carson was in town and took home a supply of pitchforks and scoop shovel handles, among other things. It looks like somebody may be in for a little work.
