• The Eads High School Knowledge team started the year successfully by winning trophies at the first three meets.
• Wild Horse Roundup- Curtis Schrimp: Marty saw the Hammers moving their cattle from the north pasture the old fashion way on horseback not on 4-wheelers.
• Remodeling the residents’ rooms at Weisbrod has begun. So far two have been completed.

• Sunflowers, corn, grain sorghum are being harvested throughout the county Yields are excellent.
• About Town- Ida Lessenden: Chad Robertson drove by with the most beautiful team of Belgium pulling a hay rack with bales of hay and lots of children. It was nice to hear the clippity clop of horses again.

• Nursing Home News- LaVerne Fischer: Our biggest Family Council meeting of the year date is approaching. Families gather here with us for our Thanksgiving dinner.

• The Eads High School band received a 1 rating in the parade competition and a 2 rating in field competition at S.C.S.C. Band Day.
