- Two of Kit Carson’s FFA youth received the highest degree available to members in the National FFA Organization. Jennifer Gibbs and Kyle Schnabel each earned the American FFA Degree.
40 Years Ago - November 8, 1985
- Greeley Gas Company will expand its services to include 15 towns in southeastern Colorado and southwestern Kansas.
- The Eads junior high volleyball team ended their season undefeated with 9-0 record.
50 Years Ago - November 7, 1975
- A Kiowa County Centennial and the 4-H Council are sponsoring a Kiowa County flag design contest. The flag was to be displayed at the Colorado State Fair for the 1976 Centennial Celebration.
