Pamela Johnston appointed to Kiowa County Court

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed Pamela E. Johnston to the Kiowa County Court in the 15th Judicial District. The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Gary W. Davis, and the appointment is effective September 1, 2024. 

Johnston is a cattle rancher. Previously she was an Associate English Professor at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan (2003-2014); Adjunct Professor at Lansing Community College (2002-2003); Associate Faculty Member at Michigan State University (2007-2008); Adjunct Faculty Member at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona (1995- 1998); and Associate Faculty Member at Arizona State University (1995-1996).

She earned her B.A. from Arizona State University in 1991 and her M.A. from Arizona State University in 1995.

Colorado’s 15th Judicial District includes Baca, Cheyenne, Kiowa, and Prowers counties.
