Santa Claus arrived by rail at the Maine Street crossing in Eads late Saturday morning courtesy, of a ride sponsored by CWC Rail, Inc., Colorado Pacific Railroad, North American Rail Car Operation Association and Crouch Engineering.

The jolly old elf handed out gifts and posed for photos with area children before continuing preparations for his busiest night of the year.
