Presidential election called for Donald Trump
Early Wednesday morning, national media outlets were naming Donald J. Trump as the winner of the presidential election after being projected to win Wisconsin’s 10 votes, pushing him over the 270 electoral vote threshold.
The United States Senate is also projected to flip to Republican control with at least 52 senators belonging to that party.
At 5:30 a.m. MST, control of the United States House of Representatives was still unclear, with 49 seats remaining to be called. At least 204 Republicans were projected to win, while 182 seats were called for Democrats. Control of the House requires 218 of the 435 members.
