I would like to address some erroneous information that was broadcast on the radio during Friday’s softball game. It was indicated that there was a positive COVID case with the opposing team, but that information was false. We have been in contact with Prowers County Health, the Sheriff’s Department and the other school districts to confirm that no such information was given, and it is not true.

I want to remind everyone that our student’s safety is of the utmost concern to us. If there were to be a positive case, then we would follow the proper protocols and information would be given to the public directly from the Superintendent.
