Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed Thomas W. Henderson to the 18th Judicial District Court. The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Honorable John Scipione and is effective immediately. 

Henderson is a Shareholder at Burg, Simpson, Eldredge, Hersh & Jardine P.C., a position he has held since 1994. 

His practice consists primarily of civil litigation regarding insurance claims. Previously, he was an Associate Attorney at Burg, Simpson, Eldredge, Hersh & Jardine P.C. (1987-1994). 

Henderson earned his B.A. from Whitman College in 1983 and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1987. 

Colorado’s 18^th Judicial District includes Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln counties.
