The year 2023 is in the archives and will soon be forgotten.
I trust that you all had a prosperous 2023 and wish you a bountiful and enjoyable 2024. The Add-A-Man Club made their 101st hike up Pike’s Peak to bring in 2024 with the annual display of fireworks.
Before I left this country, depending on weather conditions, we would go to First View or north of Wild Horse to see the display.
I am so sad about the mainstream media bobbleheads and social media trolls lack of knowledge about civics and this nation’s history. These people demonstrate the inadequacy of this country’s education system.
During the 1860 Presidential election, ten (10) southern states controlled by democrats removed Abraham Lincoln’s name from their ballots, because Lincoln was perceived to be against the institution of slavery. Lincoln won and presented his inaugural address in March 1861; the Civil War began in April 1861. Now, 164 years later, there are people using the legal system to block a potential candidate.
The conditions are different - in 1860 it was an economic issue, in 2024 it is a personality issue. The radical left – socialists, sewer rats in the DC cesspool, mainstream media bobbleheads and social trolls do not want a President who will work diligently to “Make America Great Again” and to return our rights by getting big government out of our life.
