Airport- waiting on some items from the attorney. Fred Derby is supposed to talk to the county on the land also.
NEW BUSINESS
Trent Rittgers gave a list of items that we would like to sell with sealed bids. Everyone agreed this should be done.
Trent asked about getting cameras in all the vehicles the board agreed this would be a great idea, and Trent should get them ordered.
Old pool- Chad Rouse gave an update on the deed. He will get back in touch with us on what is going on with it.
The board discussed some complaints on a few properties here that need something done with them; they decided to turn those properties over to the attorney for his attention. Letters have been sent and waiting for progress reports on the properties.
It was brought to the attention of the board that a party had blocked 14th street off with cars. 14th street should never be blocked as this is an emergency route and truck route. The town will never grant permission to block that street off. If we see this again we are to notify the sheriff and have a citation written to the ones blocking the street. The board also has decided to start charging $25.00 to use the water and $25.00 for electricity. Water will be locked off from now on. Anyone wanting to do car washes will have to use the roadside park for those events, and pay the same fees, the roadside will not be blocked off, it will remain open to the public at all times. Stephanie Sewell made a motion to accept the charges, Fred Derby seconded, all ayes. Kathy McCracken made a motion to only allow the use of the roadside for car washes, Dennis Pearson seconded, all ayes.
