Bent/Kiowa County Dispatch received a 911 call Tuesday morning, June 21, at 2:39 a.m. reporting a burglary in progress at Kiowa Healthmart, 1201 Maine Street, in Eads.  Undersheriff Jake Six and Deputy Josh Swanson responded.  Cameron Wheeler Jordan, 28, of Eads was taken into custody and transported to Prowers County Jail.   The 2012 GMC Sierra pickup at the scene was later reported stolen from the Cobblestone Inn & Suites, 501 E. Lowell, in Eads.  Jordan was arrested on charges of aggravated motor vehicle theft, driving under restraint, possession of burglary tools, and criminal mischief.  Bond is set at $6000.  The charges are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
