Watch live as NORAD tracks Santa's progress around the world in 2023
For the 68th year, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, known as NORAD, will be tracking Santa Claus’ global flight from the north pole en route to deliver gifts to eager children in every country. Families can track the jolly elf’s progress at www.noradsanta.org or by using the viewer above. The live stream starts Sunday morning (Christmas Eve) at 4:00 a.m. and runs through midnight Mountain Time.
Website visitors can watch Santa make preparations for his flight. NORAD’s “Santa Cams” will stream videos on the website as Santa makes his way over various locations. Santa trackers worldwide can speak with a live phone operator or hear a recorded update about to Santa’s whereabouts by dialing the toll-free number 1-877-Hi-NORAD (1-877-446-6723) Christmas Eve between 6:00 a.m. and midnight Mountain Time.
NORAD Tracks Santa will also be available on digital media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter), and on contributor platforms, Amazon Alexa, Bing, SiriusXM, and OnStar.
Anytime on December 24, Amazon Alexa users can ask for Santa’s location through the NORAD Tracks Santa skill for Amazon Alexa.
Official NORAD Tracks Santa apps are also available in the Apple and Google Play stores, so parents and children can count down the days until Santa’s launch on their smart phones and tablets! Tracking opportunities are also offered on Facebook, X, YouTube, and Instagram. Santa followers just need to type “@noradsanta” into each search engine to get started.
