New Business:

Some customers have approached a few board members about the $100.00 monthly bulk water fee. They would like to have the monthly fee waived, since they use a lot of water in the winter but not during the summer. The board discussed different ways to work with the local ag producers, farmers and ranchers. It was decided to let them go on a 6-month period with no monthly fee. If they do not use any water during that time, they will be required to pay $100.00 monthly fee at the end of the 6 month period, or return the key.

Grants- Cindy McLoud gave an update on the sidewalk and work that will be taking place in front of the theater. The work on the sidewalks will start soon. She is working on the pool grant and narrative letter.

Pool- The Preliminary design-build agreement was signed. The contractors will start the ground samples soon.

Front end loader- The board granted Van permission to bid on a front-end loader. There will be a grant that covers 80% of the price. The one he is looking at is fifteen thousand. Stephanie Sewell moved to approve the purchase of the front-end loader, Fred Derby seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
