(The Center Square) – Texas voters approved all but one of the 14 constitutional amendments on the ballot, according to unofficial results posted by the Secretary of State’s Office.

With 98 percent of the counties reporting and over half of polling locations reporting, all amendments appeared to have passed except for Proposition 13, which sought to increase the mandatory age for retirement of state justices and judges.

(Colorado Newsline) U.S. Capitol Police used a taser on and arrested a man on Tuesday whom they alleged walked with an assault-style weapon near the Capitol building, though it didn’t initially appear the man made any direct threats against members of Congress.

USCP Chief Tom Manger said during a brief press conference that a 21-year-old registered sex offender from Atlanta, Georgia, will be charged with several federal crimes, including having a firearm on U.S. Capitol grounds.

Unofficial results showed Proposition HH garnering just 39 percent support

Unofficial results showed more than 66% of voters statewide cast a ballot for Proposition II.
