The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on May 30, 2017 at 6:37 p.m. at the Bransgrove Building Meeting Room.
District Board members present were: Robert Woods, Mary Eikner, Priscilla Waggoner, Sylvia Shields and Cathryn Anderson.
County Board members present were: Craig Kerfoot, Kim Harris, John Negley and Dennis Pearson. Absent: Lori Shalberg.

John Martin Reservoir
The reservoir is currently around 75 degrees with about 4 feet of visibility. The reservoir is rising and almost full, but anglers are reporting a green tint to the water. Anglers are catching their fair share of white bass on crank baits and soft baits. The fish are averaging small in size, but anglers are catching bigger fish in the deeper depths of the reservoir.
Lake Pueblo
“Despicable Me 3” barely contains any of the franchise’s trademark Minions, and the little we do get isn’t really related to the rest of the movie. It’s as if the people at Illumination Animation almost let a “Despicable Me” movie into theaters without any Minions – the horror! I personally can’t stand the Minions, mainly because of the way they talk, and was glad to see them kept to a minimum this time around. Just my luck, the movie in this series that uses them the least is the one that is most lifeless otherwise, which implies that they should have been used more to punch things up.
Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams said that his office will release voter information that is public under state law to a presidential election commission that asked for "publicly-available roll data," but it will withhold data that is confidential.
