Arizona's thirsty data centers strain power grid
The Sierra Club is addressing the growing environmental demands of data centers in Arizona and across the country.
Kiowa County Extension Services hosted a quilting workshop for youth and adults on February 27 and 28. The event was guided by the expertise of Carole Spady and Mary Rhodes. Materials for the workshops were graciously donated by Dorothy Ellicott, a longtime supporter of 4-H and homemaking skills. The success of these workshops was made possible by the dedication and generosity of these wonderful women.
The Weisbrod Health Extended Care held a celebration for resident and World War II/Pearl Harbor survivor Orville Mousel’s 105th birthday at their afternoon tea. Extended Care Director, Brenda Leon, served cake and beverage while the guest of honor, Orville, answered questions. Happy Birthday Orville!
