* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and southeast Colorado,
including the following areas, Teller, El Paso, Huerfano, Las
Animas, Crowley, Otero, Kiowa, Bent and Prowers Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 PM MDT this afternoon through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Abundant monsoon moisture will result in scattered to numerous
thunderstorms this afternoon and evening which will be capable of
producing heavy rainfall and flash flooding, especially for urban
areas or locations with already saturated soil conditions.
