Ag stats: Mountain region quarterly milk production highlights
January-March 2020
Arizona dairy herds produced 1.26 billion pounds of milk during the January - March quarter, down 0.5 percent from the previous year.
Colorado dairy herds produced 1.25 billion pounds of milk during the January - March quarter, up 7.8 percent from the previous year.
Montana dairy herds produced 64.0 million pounds of milk during the January - March quarter, unchanged from the previous year.
New Mexico dairy herds produced 2.11 billion pounds of milk during the January - March quarter, up 3.8 percent from the previous year.
Utah dairy herds produced 552.0 million pounds of milk during the January - March quarter, down 1.1 percent from the previous year.
Wyoming dairy herds produced 40.0 million pounds of milk during the January - March quarter, up 11.4 percent from the previous year.
UNITED STATES HIGHLIGHTS
Milk production in the United States during the January - March quarter totaled 56.0 billion pounds, up 2.9 percent from the January - March quarter last year.
