Milk production in Kansas during October 2021 totaled 334 million pounds, down 2% from October 2020, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service.

The average number of milk cows was 169,000 head, 3,000 head less than October 2020.

Milk production per cow averaged 1,975 pounds.
