First week of the new school year: 2024-2025
Well, school has resumed and is going well. The first three weeks we will be going to school on Fridays, which takes some getting used to. This is to have built-in snow days. The school has been re-keyed inside and out. Our library is going through a make over—not ready yet. The reveal will be soon. Pre-school began Monday, August 19.
Friday, August 16, we held a potluck dinner so that the community could enjoy good food and meet the teachers. We have a new staff member—Cade McDowell, who will be teaching elementary and secondary physical education. Welcome to the team, Cade!
The senior class is selling peaches and pears. Contact the school or Susan Greenfield. Peach orders are due August 21. Prices: Peaches- # 1 $40 per box, Peaches- #2 $30 per box, and Pears $32 per box.
I am looking forward to my fiftieth year of teaching.
