Cheyenne County warms into the 90s through the weekend
A breezy but dry stretch of weather is on the way for Cheyenne County, with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s through Sunday before a cool-down arrives next week. The National Weather Service in Goodland, Kan., which issues forecasts for far eastern Colorado, is calling for sunshine to dominate the five-day period that begins today.

Meteorologists with the Goodland forecast office say a weak shortwave moving through the central Plains will keep skies cloudy into Thursday morning before clearing arrives by midday. The system is expected to produce little or no measurable precipitation across far eastern Colorado.
