The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Tuesday January 10, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Robin Fox took roll call:

• Mayor – Joe D. Shields- Present
• Trustees – Present –Kathy McCracken, Tuck Liebl, Dennis Pearson, Fred Derby
• Absent – Justin McLoud, Stephanie Sewell
• Town Clerk- Robin Fox 
• Assistant Clerk- Mikahael McCracken
• Director of Public Works-Van Brown
• Town Attorney – Lance Clark – Absent

Minutes­- Dennis Pearson moved to approve the minutes as presented. Fred Derby seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Kathy McCracken moved to approve payment of the bills.  Dennis Pearson seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Public Comment- The new Kiowa County Sheriff Brian Williams was present, he asked the board what kind of reports they would like to see. He had a copy of one that he and Undersheriff Jacob Marlow had done, the board liked this one and thought it was all the information they needed to see. Everyone congratulated him on his new position.  

New Business:  Justin wasn’t present but wanted something brought up about some of the misprints in the Kiowa County Independent, regarding the last meeting. The other board members agree that some of it was wrong, and somethings were never said. Joe agreed he would go and ask for corrections.
