Betsy Barnett asked the board to think about buying the Bennett house that is attached to the building the town already owns. She thought maybe $26,000 is what they would be asking.  She would like them to consider the purchase.

Budget for 2024 was presented. They will need to work on the actual numbers and have it done before December meeting.

Mayor Shields suggested giving the library the building, they want to move into, and this was just a suggestion thinking it would help them if they owned it for grants and other purposes. Betsy didn’t think this would be a good idea and wants the board to table this. She will be coming back with the other people on other boards to discuss this. The town does own the theater and the other building where the library will be moving into.

Trent Rittgers- presented a quote on a pickup with a snow plow on it; this is already in the budget. The board would like to table this. Trent did tell them this offer may only be good for a month.
