The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Monday October 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Robin Fox took roll call:

• Mayor - Joe D. Shields- Present
• Trustees - Present -Dennis Pearson, Stephanie Sewell, Kathy McCracken, Justin McLoud, Fred Derby
• Absent - Tuck Liebl
• Town Clerk- Robin Fox
• Assistant Clerk- Mikahael McCracken
• Director of Public Works-Van Brown-Trent Rittgers
• Town Attorney- Lance Clark-Absent

Minutes- Justin McLoud moved to approve the minutes as presented. Stephanie Sewell seconded, motion passed unanimously.

New Business- The board decided that since the pickup was in budget for 2023 they agreed to purchase the pickup and snowplow. Dennis Pearson moved to approve the purchase. Kathy McCracken seconded, motion passed unanimously.

SECED- They decided to opt in with a roll call vote. Justin McLoud Yes, Dennis Pearson Yes, Fred Derby Yes, Kathy McCracken No, Stephanie Sewell No, motion passed, with three yes and two no.

Turkeys- They voted to purchase the annual turkeys. Stephanie Sewell made the motion to purchase the turkeys, and Dennis Pearson seconded, motion passed unanimously.

Wages- tabled again.

Adjournment- Meeting was adjourned 6:30 P.M.
