Denis and Theresa Weber and Merle Shalberg went to Garden City, Kansas, Saturday to visit with Carol Shalberg, who is still in the hospital after having knee replacement surgery. She is doing better.

Glenda Jackson of Ft. Madison, Iowa, a niece of Denis and Theresa Webers, spent Sunday afternoon visiting with them.

Evan, Layton and Lincoln Hopkins attended the Air Force football game Saturday. They traveled to the game with the football teams from Tribune, Kansas. The weather was great, and the Air Force won the game!

Jennifer Wilson, Jeanie Smith, Carol Allen, Tara Stum, and Susan Greenfield from Plainview School and Glenn Smith and Sue Fox from Eads School and Courtney from BOCES in Lamar attended a PCI training course at Plainview School Friday.

Keep Dave Schuler, Linly and Sherell Stum's brother-in-law, in your prayers. Dave was badly hurt in a tractor accident a few weeks ago. He is now out of ICU, but has a long recovery ahead of him. Monte and Linda Stum and Linly and Sherell Stum have been helping get ready for the sale they were having at Dave's farm. The sale was this past week.

Congratulations to Jim and Melanie Specht of Tulsa, Oklahoma, on the birth of their daughter, Norah Jane. Her siblings are Evelyn and Harrison. Proud grandparents are Leo and Kathy Specht of Towner.
