      How about that Bronco game on Sunday?  They came to play didn't they?  Their defense was amazing and the whole team stepped up whenever they needed to.  They kept Brady off balance most of the game.  Looking forward to the Super Bowl - GO BRONCOS!!

 

     Last Saturday, Layton Hopkins and the boys from his class at school celebrated his 7th birthday at the Bowling Alley in Tribune. Happy Birthday Layton!

 

     Monte and Linda Stum went to Rocky Ford over the weekend to visit with their daughter Kami and family.  They watched the Bronco game before returning home on Sunday.

 

     Sherell Stum reported that Clinton Evans, former Towner resident, is doing well after undergoing knee surgery a couple of weeks ago.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery Clint.  Wilma, are you going to be able to keep up with him now?

 

     Last Saturday, the Stum and Harkness clan gathered at the home of Sean and Misty Harkness to help Elijah Harkness celebrate his birthday.

     Last Thursday the Plainview boys and girls basketball teams played their final game for this year.  Lots of Plainview fans came to support their teams.  Congratulations to the teams for their spirit and efforts during the season.  The Cheyenne Wells Boys and the Kit Carson Girls won the championship games.  Now on to Track!

 

     Last Friday, Tina Kraft and Susan Greenfield went to Pueblo shopping.  On Saturday, Susan and Cora Coffman went to Granada to watch the basketball game between them and Eads.  Plainview student, Ryan Koeller, plays with the Granada team.  Both the boys and girls teams from Granada won their games.  On Sunday, Susan attended church with Tina and her family and then watched the Bronco game with them.  They also celebrated Bryce Kraft's birthday on Sunday. Happy Birthday Bryce!

 

     Merle and Carol Shalberg went to Garden City, KS on Saturday to watch their grandson Dawson play basketball in a tournament.

 

     Lori Shalberg had surgery on Monday and is doing well.  Here's wishing you a speedy recovery Lori!

 

     Sunday dinner guests of Larry and Judy Tuttle were:  Bernice Tuttle and Eva Vedia.
