We hope everyone had a safe and blessed Thanksgiving Holiday.

Dick, Kyle and I had my mom, Mary Huddleston; my sister, Jerene DeBono and husband Ian; my brothers, Larry and Mike Huddleston and my nephew, Pat Huddleston for Thanksgiving dinner. We were small in number, but we had a great time remembering the good ole' days.  Sure brought back memories long forgotten.

Guests of Cheri Hopkins for Thanksgiving dinner were her daughter Christy and son Evan and his wife Jen and their children.

On Saturday, Freda Schmidt attended the wedding shower at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church for Seth Splitter and his fiancee, Seija.  On Sunday, Freda's grandchildren, Jeff and Sarah Carter and her great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Jenna Jacobs came to visit and spend the night.  Bryan, Dorcas and Abby Berggren and Jamie, Megan and Wren Berggren joined them for supper and visiting Sunday evening.

Monte and Linda Stum hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the Stum clan at the Towner Community Hall.

Sherell Stum visited with Clint and Wilma Evans over the holiday and they said to tell everyone hello for them.

Denis and Theresa Weber had most of their children and grandchildren come at different times to celebrate Thanksgiving with them.  Theresa remarked that with the smaller groups, she could bring out the good china.  I laughed and told her that I had done the same thing with our small group.

Cora Coffman spent Thanksgiving day in Cheyenne Wells with family and then went to Trinidad for the weekend to visit with her son Cecil and family.

Larry and Judy Tuttle went to Castle Rock for Thanksgiving with Mike, Rhonda and Emily Koehn.  Several of Mike's family joined them for the day.

Vern and JoAnn Harris hosted Thanksgiving dinner for around 15 family members.

David and Dennill Splitter enjoyed having their college children, Alyssa and Seth and his fiancee Seija home for the holiday.

Melissa Parks, our Superintendent of Plainview School, and her children spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Oklahoma with family members.

Kelvin, Amy, Mikayla and Alex Schmidt spent Thanksgiving in Oklahoma with family.

Susan Greenfield spent the holiday in Sterling with her dad, Norm.

On Thursday, she and her dad and her brother Jon and wife Sanya traveled to Bennett, CO to have Thanksgiving dinner with her sister Sami and husband John.

Merle and Carol Shalberg hosted Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday for their children, Steve, Greg and Lori and families. Their grandsons, Dalton and Dillon stayed to help Greg move cattle last week.  On Thanksgiving day, they hosted dinner for Bill and Charlotte Woelk and all of their family.  Lots of cooking!

Praise Night was held at the Towner Methodist Church on Sunday evening.

The High School boys will not be playing on Dec. 1 at Wiley, only the girls will play at 4p.m.  Boys and girls will play Eads at home on Dec. 2 at 5p.m.

We've been working hard on getting our Christmas lights going.

We're almost done - I would have finished today, but the wind got in my way.  Have a great week!

Don't forget the Christmas Craft Fair at Plainview School this Sat.

Dec. 3, 9a.m. to 3p.m.  Come on out and have lunch and do some shopping.
