Eldorado Canyon State Park's timed vehicle entry reservations resume May 1

Eldorado Canyon State Park will require timed vehicle entry reservations on Saturdays, Sundays and summer holidays from May 1 through October 1, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) announced. Reservations are not required during the week.
Vehicle reservations can be booked up to 30 days in advance at cpwshop.com, with a small number of reservations released 24 hours in advance. Reservations cannot be booked in person at the park entrance or visitor center. Additional details are posted on the Eldorado Canyon State Park website.

Visitors may book two-hour entry windows between 5:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. No reservations are required after 3:30 p.m. Each visitor may book one daily reservation per vehicle, with a maximum of four reservations per month. Because the park has limited cell service, CPW encourages visitors to print or screenshot the reservation confirmation form to show park staff on arrival.
Visitors who do not want to drive in can use the free Eldo Shuttle, which begins service on Memorial Day weekend with multiple pick-up locations in Boulder County. The shuttle operates Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A valid park pass is still required to enter Eldorado Canyon when arriving by shuttle.
A $10 daily entrance fee applies to all in-state registered vehicles that do not already have an annual pass or the $29 Keep Colorado Wild Pass. The Keep Colorado Wild Pass must be linked to the holder's account in the CPW shop in order to waive the reservation fee. Beginning May 1, 2026, all out-of-state registered vehicles are required to pay a $15 daily entrance fee.
