A two-vehicle fatal crash on E 120th Ave near N. Powhaton Rd in Adams County Sunday, killed one person and sent four others to area hospitals before the road reopened at approximately 6:38 p.m.

The crash, reported at approximately 2:49 p.m. east of Brighton, was a front-end collision involving an older model Chevrolet Silverado and a Ford F-150XLT. The driver of the Silverado, a 48-year-old man, was pronounced dead on scene. The passenger of the Silverado, a 28-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital. The driver of the Ford, a 33-year-old man, and his passengers, a 61-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, were also transported to an area hospital.

The crash is being investigated by the Colorado State Patrol's Vehicular Crimes Unit.
