
Governor Polis Appoints Tyler K. Gibson to the Baca County Court
Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed Tyler K. Gibson to the Baca County Court in the 15th Judicial District. The vacancy is occasioned by the appointment of the Honorable Lyudmyla Lishchuk to the Morgan County Court and is effective immediately.
Gibson is the Owner and Manager of Baca Home Care Agency, and he serves as a Court Visitor in the 15th Judicial District, positions he has held since 2018 and 2020, respectively.
In addition, he has been a waiter and assistant manager at Longhorn Steakhouse since 2009, and he has been the Mayor of Springfield, Colorado, since 2020.
Previously, he was a Manager at Baca County Personal Care Agency (2016-2018); Senior Loan Processor at Peoples Credit Union (2015-2016); and Deputy Clerk for the Baca County Clerk and Recorder, and Clerk to the Baca County Commissioners (2013-2015).
He earned his B.B.A. from West Texas A&M University in 2015.
Colorado’s 15th Judicial District includes Baca, Prowers, Kiowa, and Cheyenne counties.
