MURDOCK BUILDING

SAND TENANT FINISH

Notice is hereby given that the Kiowa County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the Murdock Building SAND Tenant Finish project, which is located at 1301, 1303, 1305 Maine Street, Eads CO. The project includes the tenant finishes for the National Park Service Sand Creek Massacre Visitor and Interpretive Center and National Park Service offices.

A pre-bid conference and walk-through, mandatory for general contract Bidders, will be held on Thursday January 17, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the project site. The bid opening will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Kiowa County Courthouse located at 1305 Goff Street, Eads CO. At this time and place, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract documents, including drawings and specifications are on file at the office of the Architect: Zink and Associates, Inc., 713 Cherokee Drive, Fort Collins CO 80525 719-850-6750 and at the Kiowa County Courthouse. Copies of the contract documents are available electronically at no cost from the Architect. Paper copies are also available at $140 to cover the cost of printing and shipment.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Kiowa County Commissioners, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The Kiowa County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids and may defer its decision for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders.
