Kiowa County moves to Level Yellow on COVID-19 dial Saturday

Effective Saturday, January 30, at 4:00 p.m., Kiowa County moved from Orange to Yellow on the COVID-19 Dial

The main changes are: 

  • RESTAURANTS: Indoor capacity increases to 50% capacity or 50 people, whichever is fewer 
  • GYMS/FITNESS: 50% Capacity or 50 people whichever is fewer, organized sports 25-person cap per activity 
  • INDOOR EVENTS: 50% Capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer as long as social distancing is maintained 
  • OUTDOOR EVENTS: 50% or 175 people, whichever is fewer as long as social distancing can be maintained with 6 feet between par-ties. 

This means that school sports spectators can increase to 100 people.
