• The Kiowa County Sheriff office, Kiowa County Fire Department, Prowers County Rural Fire, and Colorado State Patrol Hazardous Material unit responded to a overturned semi at Highway 287 and the underpass in Eads. The highway was closed nearly 19 hours for cleanup.
• Wild Horse Roundup- Curtis Schrimp: Did you know Wild Horse published a newspaper in 1915? It was gone when I came here in 1928. There was a newspaper in Kit Carson in 1928.

• The Eads-Wiley wrestling team will send four to the state wrestling tournament. They are Ryan Phillips, Ross Wollert, Dustin Uhland, and J.J. Stolzenberger.
