- Wild Horse Roundup- Curtis Schrimp: I seen something I haven’t seen in a long time, wild turkeys south of the highway. We see them in the summer all around town.
- Eads End Events- Sharon Scott: We got 1.5 inches of rain Monday and it was still raining. Makes things look greener and smell better.

- Commissioner Dutch Eikenberg said officials with Colorado Kansas & Pacific Railroad and the Colorado Department of Transportation have a contract to allow CKP to restore service on the rail line.
40 Years Ago - March 15, 1985
- The Kiowa County Press interviewed the Omnibank president Gary Klearman, asking a number of questions the community has. The major question is, will the new bank make agriculture loans?
50 Years Ago - March 14, 1975
- The Water Valley School, currently six miles north of Brandon, will be moved to Eads restored and furnished as authentically as possible.
- Eads Board of Trustees agreed to pay $3,500 for use of the county jail. This will also ensure to help with police enforcement in Eads.
