  • From the Sheriff’s Desk- Floyd Griswould: I responded to the three mile corner where an abandoned car had been left right in the middle of the curve causing a very dangerous road hazard.

August 25, 1972

  • State Representative Forrest Burn says he has learned the State Engineer will order all wells that did not make application for adjudication prior to July 1, 1972, will be shut off.

An area north of Brandon reported four inches of hail and two inches of rain. The heaviest deluge was reported in the vicinity of the Great Plains Reservoirs. Bob Howerton, who lives south of Nee Noshe, reported 5 to 6 inches.
