  • Papers were signed shortly before 12 p.m. Wednesday to complete the State of Colorado purchase of the rail line between Towner and North Avondale Junction form Union Pacific.

  • Mrs. Flora Ramsdale broke her arm while cranking her car.
  • A big run of water is coming down the Big Sandy by Chivington. The water was with four inches of the stringers on the Kit Carson Bridge. The Brandon Lake is not taking any water, as it is bank full now.
