Polis orders flags raised for Inauguration Day
Colorado Governor Jared Polis has ordered flags across the state to be raised to full-staff from sunrise to sunset Monday for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump. Flags nationwide are currently at half-staff for 30 days to honor former president Jimmy Carter, who died at the age of 100 in December.
Following the inauguration, flags will return to half-staff until January 28, concluding the 30-day mourning period order by President Joe Biden.
