The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Tuesday February 12, 2019 at 4:58 p.m. in the Town Hall. Robin Fox, Town Clerk, took roll call:

Mayor – Joe D. Shields- present

Trustees – Present –Kathy McCracken, Terry Riley, Dennis Pearson, and Justin McLoud

Absent – Lisa Trigilio

Town Clerk- Robin Fox –Present

Assistant Clerk- Shealynn McCracken-Present

Director of Public Works- Van Brown- Absent

Foreman- Jesse Deines- Present

Audiences/Public Comment Period 

Minutes­- Justin McLoud moved to approve the minutes as amended. Dennis Pearson seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Terry Riley moved to approve the payment of the bills. Kathy McCracken seconded, motion passed unanimously.

New Business: 

Interest in being a board member- The board members looked over the letter of interest submitted by Meghan Buck. Justin McLoud moved to nominate Meghan Buck to join the Eads Town Council. Kathy McCracken seconded, motion passed unanimously. Meghan Buck was sworn in by Mayor Shields.

Jan Richards- Jan was unable to attend the meeting, so her concerns were tabled until the next meeting. 

Betsy Barnett- Betsy attended the meeting to update the board on progress on the theater project. 

Bring Up Items- 

The Foreman for the Town of Eads was present to request permission to purchase a Dodge work pickup and utility bed. Justin McLoud moved to approve the purchase of the pickup for $32,500 and the utility bed for $7,000. Terry Riley seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Adjourn- Kathy McCracken moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:58 p.m. Terry Riley seconded, motion passed unanimously.
