The meeting was called to order by mayor Joe Shields at 4:55 P.M.

Dennis Pearson made a motion to approve the July minutes that were presented. Stephanie Sewell seconded the motion. All Ayes

APPROVAL OF BILLS

A motion was made by Kathy McCracken to approve the bills and seconded by Fred Derby. All Ayes.

OLD BUSINESS

Airport- Tabled

NEW BUSINESS

New pool - Nothing to report at this time.

CLCEC Library- Betsy Barnett sent an email over to be read out loud, as she was busy with the paper. Stephanie Sewell read the email out loud. Betsy stated they are trying to borrow money and get more grants to help finish the project on the library building. Betsy would like the town to donate $40,000.00 for this project, pay app 5 & 6 are due and no funds at this time to pay them. Betsy asked that the board not make any decisions on this until she can meet with the board.

Trent- told that someone put something they shouldn’t of in a dumpster and it broke the cylinder on the truck again we just replaced this two years ago. A new cylinder will cost $16,000.00 and can’t be shipped until the end of September. The town has contacted Wiley Town and they are going to help us with the trash until we get something figured out. We will pay the fuel and the wage for the employee that comes to dump the trash.

Bring up Items- Trent is pricing a dual purpose trash truck and will let the board know what he finds. The board did vote to sponsor Case Nelson a summer time employee of 4 years with $250.00 baseball advertisement. Stephanie Sewell made the motion to approve the donation to Case and Kathy McCracken seconded. All ayes.
