GRASSLAND CRP SIGNUP #206 ACCEPTED/REJECTED NOTIFICATIONS
FSA offices received the accepted/rejected listing for Grassland CRP Signup #206 last week. Producers who had submitted an eligible offer should be or have received their notification if the offer(s) were accepted or rejected. In Kiowa County, producers with email address were notified along with a follow-up letter in the mail. Producers with accepted offers have 10 days from the date of the notification to notify the FSA office if they wish to continue with the offer, upon notification to FSA, the offer is then moved to NRCS to begin the conservation planning process.
It will be imperative that producers respond quickly to emails and/or phone calls from NRCS and/or FSA.
Maintaining ARC/PLC Acreage
If you’re enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs, you must protect all cropland and noncropland acres on the farm from wind and water erosion and noxious weeds. By signing ARC county or individual contracts and PLC contracts, you agree to effectively control noxious weeds on the farm according to sound agricultural practices. If you fail to take necessary actions to correct a maintenance problem on your farm that is enrolled in ARC or PLC, the County Committee may elect to terminate your contract for the program year
