Our communities would like to express their condolences to the family of Randy Richardson, who passed away on November 3. Randy, son of Jim and MaryAnn Richardson, grew up in Sheridan Lake and resided there until he moved to Elkhart, KS for health reasons.  His funeral was last Friday at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church with former Pastor Larry Gitchel officiating at the service.  A large crowd attended the services and dinner afterwards.  Special guests were:  his class mates and law enforcement officers he had worked with.  Randy will be missed by his family and many friends.

The Veteran's Appreciation Pot Luck dinner and program at the Community Building in Eads on Friday was well attended.  Friday evening, around 60 people gathered at the meeting room in the courthouse to enjoy the dinner sponsored by the VFW.  Hats off to all who made Veteran's Day extra special and Thank You to all our Veterans, who have done so much for our country.

Weekend before last, a large number of friends and family members gathered at the Methodist Church in Tribune, KS to help Trevor Carney and Kaylie Schneider celebrete their wedding day. After the wedding, everyone traveled to the Community Building to enjoy the reception, dinner, and dancing.  It was a lovely wedding and the decorations were fantastic.  Trevor and Kaylie will be living in Towner where he farms and she works in the bank in Tribune.  Congratulations Trevor and Kaylie!!

Denis and Theresa Weber and their son Jerry traveled to Denver weekend before last to attend Jerry's son Quinton Weber's graduation from Lincoln Technology with a degree in Diesel Mechanics.  His Uncle Corby and Aunt Kathy Knutson hosted a reception at their home following graduation for all of his friends and family who attended.
