Chuck Bowen and Mike Bowen will launch their new book, We Found the Lost Sand Creek Site, October 26 at the Cultural Events Center located in the Lamar City Complex in Prowers County. The program is at 6:30 p.m., with a book signing to follow at 7:00 p.m.
There will be a sampling of artifacts on display including arrowheads, bullets, and cannonball shell fragments.

Mrs. Barlow passed away unexpectedly at her home in Eads.
Funeral services are pending.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Theresa Marie (Gorman) Weber was born January 13, 1935. After a 14-month battle with colon cancer, she passed away peacefully at her home in Sheridan Lake October 9, 2022, at the age of 87.
